Aloha, I am Nani Ann Chaplin, daughter of Dutchie Kinimaka. I live in Hurricane, UT and have followed the the family as much as I could through different venues. I am very proud to be a Kinimaka. In 1976 I was in Kauai and stayed with Tutu Kane and Grandma Jay and their family for the summer. It was one of the best times of my life. I just wanted to say Aloha to all and I love being from a wonderful family and have never denied my heritage.

aloha everyone! i am the great grandson of hattie stephenson, who was the older sister of anna stephenson kinimaka eleakala (mother of the 1st batch). i am planning to do a documentary film about the stephenson `ohana. i am hoping to obtain photographs of descendants of mary kekaula hoomanawanui and george henry stephenson (the parents of hattie and anna) to incorporate into the film. if you are descendants of the 1st batch, please contact me at jaysonbarangan@yahoo.com . . . . i have already contacted uncle jimmy and am hoping to conduct an interview with him in the near future (uncle jimmy, if you are reading this: ALOHA! hope all is well. had a nice time talking to you the other week!) in order to utilize any photographs that any of you want to contribute to the film, a release form may be necessary (i'll have specifics at a later time). i do hope to hear from you all sooner or later as my family as well as myself are connected to the 1st batch (although they have never met, my grandma is a 1st cousin of the 1st batch). the film is still in its conceptual stages. would also like to connect w/ uncle iva. please pass on my information to him if possible as i would like to interview him as well.
